The New Moon grants us the ability to set the framework for the 29 days that follow it. Every New Moon is found within a different zodiac sign, which means it’s abundant with a special energy every cycle. If we do not acknowledge the New Moon, then what we manifest over the course of 29 days could be difficult. It’s tricky though because the New Moon is invisible, so it’s not as obvious as the Full Moon.

This New Moon brings a focus on new beginnings, emotional rebirth, and the potential for deep spiritual connection. This period is marked by several significant astrological transits such as the New Moon’s septile to Jupiter which signals a time for introspection and growth, emphasizing intuition over effort. It suggests that success may come more from spiritual or philosophical pursuits rather than material ones.

So, this choice we are faced with every lunar cycle makes all the difference between being supported by our destiny or challenged by our fate. We have a saying, “When we have lucky stars, we may use our free will; but when the stars are against us, we must use our free will.”

What this means is that if we ignore the New Moon, we make things more difficult. First, we don’t set the framework for what we want and second, we don’t set up the vessel to receive it as the Moon grows with light. Without a clear context of what you want, there’s no telling what people or situations your fate will present you with.

Because this New Moon makes a sextile with Uranus, it introduces opportunities for innovation and change. This encourages embracing new ideas and technologies, indicating that progress may come through unexpected avenues.

At the same time, this New Moon makes a septile with Pluto indicating deep transformation. This time might reveal opportunities for significant personal growth, suggesting an internal helping to release old patterns to embrace a new self.

When we connect with the positive aspects of each New Moon, we set up the framework for what we want to manifest like an artist with his canvas.

The New Moon on March 10, 2024, will also be found somewhat close to Neptune in Pisces. This is giving us a second chance to see things in a new light. But second chances are worth nothing if we don’t take them. So, we need to first see why we need a second chance and where it is coming from.

Second chances are realities that re-present themselves to be elected. They don’t come all the time, but when they do, we should really look into it. On a collective level, we are being presented with another opportunity to control the global transition. But when we choose something, we must say goodbye to another. This is why many of us stand in the hallway of reality without ever picking a door. This brings us issues of letting go as well as the arrogance that says, “I don’t have to pick just one thing.” Well, the world is in a fluid-water-like state. Pisces, a water sign, moves in two opposite directions within the water. For the collective, this manifests as uncertainty, hope, or fear of which direction we will take.

However, this is the New Moon that gives you a second chance to turn on your power of prophecy to give you personal insight into your quest. This is not the kind of prophecy that entertains or sedates; it’s the kind that shows you the outcome before you take the first step on your quest.

Scientifically speaking, when we make a choice, reality splits. The choice we make creates a path while the other choice we didn’t make renders into a separate reality, creating a parallel universe. Our ability to choose a reality is easily illustrated by choosing a door in a hallway of many doors, each with its own framework of fate.

And let’s not forget one of the most transits going on now, the North Node conjunct Chiron, the focus sharpens on healing that aligns with our life’s purpose. This conjunction invites us to view our vulnerabilities as sources of power and pathways to wisdom. It's an auspicious time for healing endeavors that not only further our personal evolution but also contribute to our collective journey toward wholeness. This aspect encourages us to address and heal wounds, recognizing them as integral to our growth and understanding of our destiny.
